DMCA Policy

UploadWizard provides a white-label platform that businesses ("customers") use to collect files from their own clients. Uploaded files are stored in each customer's own object storage, not on UploadWizard's systems. We nonetheless respect the rights of copyright holders and respond to valid notices under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. §512. This page is provided for transparency and is not legal advice.
Reporting alleged infringement
If you believe material accessible through the Service infringes a copyright you own or represent, send a written notice to our designated agent (below) that includes:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
- Identification of the material claimed to be infringing, with enough information for us to locate it (e.g. the portal domain/URL and a description of the file).
- Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on its behalf.
Designated agent
DMCA Agent, UploadWizard — [email protected] (please use the subject line "DMCA Notice").
Our response & the customer's role
Because uploaded files reside in the customer's own storage and branded portal, a valid notice may be forwarded to the relevant customer — the party that controls that content and storage — so they can act, and/or we may disable access to the identified material where we are able. In appropriate cases we may remove or disable content and suspend accounts.
Counter-notification
If you believe material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notification to the agent above including: your signature; identification of the material and the location where it appeared before removal; a statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification; and your name, address, and telephone number, with consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate federal court and to accept service of process from the complaining party.
Repeat infringers
We maintain a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of customers who are repeat infringers.
